Manitobans with questions about home décor will find their answers at the Autumn Home Show.
“Our Consult-A-Decorator program was so successful last year that we expanded it this year,” says Ron Mark, the president of Ready Event Marketing, which is organizing the show. “Working in conjunction with the Manitoba chapter of the Canadian Decorators’ Association (CDECA), we will have two decorators on site at all times throughout the show.”
He suggests that homeowners considering a renovation or interior decorating project should pre-book their 15-minute one-on-one appointments with the decorators by going online at AutumnHomeShow.ca. The full schedule is available and an electronic confirmation will be returned to you within 48 hours.
All requests are booked on a first come first served basis. The slots fill up quickly, Mark notes, so if you want to boost your creativity and get some practical advice on how to make your decorating dreams a reality, book now!
Mark encourages people to bring their drawings, paint samples, photos and ideas to their meeting with the decorator. “Designing a residence is a team effort between you and your decorator. Remember good planning is also good for the pocketbook!.” he says. – Myron Love
